The collection is divided into Four Record Groups (see attached schedule). The First record group consists of Dr. Moon’s research and writings. It includes research notes, drafts, printed texts, and reprints and copies of published material, as well as editorial correspondence. The second record group consists of material relating to Dr. Moon’s time as a Faculty member at Boston State College. The material included in this group ranges from legislative documents and reports to Faculty committee minutes and a variety of correspondence, memos, etc. The third record group consists of material pertaining to public higher education in the nation, and in Massachusetts. Items include pertinent articles, ERIC documents, and various studies and reports. The Fourth record group consists of material relating to Dr. Moon’s activities as a member of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). This material includes items from both the national and state levels involving AAUP conference work. There is also an extensive collection of AAUP investigations of cases at a number of New England colleges and universities.
