The Arrangement of His Papers

Mr. Kent's papers are grouped into 4 Record Groups. Record Group 1 of 7 boxes include choral compositions arranged in chronological order, choral arrangements in chronological order, his 1968 book, WINDOWS OF SONG, and a manual, PRACTICAL AND DISTINCTIVE PIECES FOR THE CHURCH ORGANIST.

Record Group 2 also of 7 boxes are his Unpublished works. These include choral compositions, songs and instrumental pieces, masses, symphonies and a Miscellaneous group with pieces not readily identified as above.

 

Record Group 3 of 6 boxes are published commercial scores arranged alphabetically by composer.

 

Record Group 4 are audio/visual materials, mostly boxed sets of LPs from either Murray-Hill or Deutsche Grammophone arranged by composer. Two other items in this group are a piano tuning hammer and a microphone with stand.

 

There are no materials relating to his military career nor is there any correspondence. See the following Guide for specific contents.
